Today we attempted falafels with a minty yogurt dip, and then baked Alaska.
There was only one word for the falafels ... Bland. they didn't have any flavour apart from lemon and turned into mush as soon as they were in your mouth, however the yogurt mint dip was actually then only thing that worked !!!and all the dip was mixing chopped mint and natural yogurt!!!
well the baked Alaska went awful no jokes!
- first the biscuit base broke into 3
- then the meringue wasn't stiff enough
- next we left the ice cream to long and it melted
- then we tried to scoop the meringue onto the ice cream and it all slid off
- finally we accidentally put the baked Alaska into the oven instead of the freezer !!!!!!!!!!!
